Hello and welcome to Tonmara Aviaries. My name is Staci, and since I was just a toddler, I have loved birds. All types! Here you will find lots of information on all sorts of birds, but mainly chickens for now, as this website is still in its developmental stage.

Have you ever really needed to know something about your fluffy friend, perhaps the vets are shut and it's a life or death situation, so you jump on Google Search, and much of the information provided online is extremely contradictory? It sure is frustrating. You will find that the internet has more misleading information than it really should... That's why my mission and vision for this website is to....
Provide accurate and reliable information on chickens and other birds, right when you need it. I want to provide a site that is SAFE in terms of correct information; to keep YOUR stress at ease, and to keep your birds SAFE from incorrect information. Please NOTE however: I am not a qualified veterinarian or a vet nurse. Just a girl with 20+ years experience.
This website will have reliable references added to anything that is not from my own experience. I will be clear where any references are coming from. I am also MORE than willing to be corrected if any objective information is incorrect. If you have concerns, you can contact me and we can have a friendly discussion! :)
